A member of the JetLease family needs your help.

Bill Costa, a longtime employee and accomplished pilot who's had a distinguished career in aviation, was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Friends of Costa have set up a GoFundMe account with an initial goal of raising $100,000 to defray medical expenses. You can find it here:

"Bill has been a mainstay with JetLease since we opened the Palm Beach office," said Russ Dise, president and CEO. "He's a very skilled negotiator and a great family man -- family always comes first with Bill. With his insurance expiring next month, he needs our help now."

During his 30-plus-year career, Costa has served as an airline Chief Pilot and a Senior Aircraft Appraiser, as well as holding multiple positions in high profile companies like Boeing, Eastern and Pan Am.

From the GoFundMe page:

"Bill is strong and determined to beat this. Chemotherapy and radiation are next, and the long, hard, uphill battle has only just begun. Please continue to pray for Bill and Carmen and the rest of the Costa family.  Carmen has stated, 'We cannot do this without you all, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the tremendous outpouring of love.'
